Tesseract operates entirely on your local machine. We do not receive, store, or process any data from your Tesseract sessions, knowledge bases, files, graphs, or search queries. All data stays on your device.
This website is hosted as a static site. When you visit, standard server log files may be recorded by the hosting provider for security purposes. These may include your IP address, browser type, and timestamp. This data is not linked to any user profile and is retained for a maximum of 30 days.
This website does not use cookies or tracking technologies. No analytics services are embedded.
Tesseract can be configured to use third-party embedding providers (e.g., OpenAI, Ollama). When you choose to use a cloud-based provider, your document content is sent to that provider's API for embedding generation. This is configured and initiated entirely by you on your local machine. We have no involvement in or access to this data exchange. Please refer to your chosen provider's privacy policy for details.
